Thanks to David Wayne and Carolyn for being in charge of child care last month.  She reported she had good help in the form of Sharon Nisly and seven teens.  To participate this month, the sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

Partridge Family Fest

October 19, 2002

Events include buggy rides, main stage events, food contests, parade, etc... (complete list on bulletin board).  The parade begins at 10:30.  David Waynes are working on a float to represent Plainview/King Street.  they would like all the children and any adult to come and ride the float  -- meet at King Street at 10:15.  We also need help with serving hamburgers (See sign up sheet).  We encourage everyone to plan to spend part of your day on their turf in Partridge.

Cookie Project

We are still working on the details for the cookie part of the project, but we have the cards.  We have 1200 cards again so we need everyone's input to have these ready for December.  Please take a stack home and place the finished projects in the box under the bulletin board.

Fund Raisers

We appreciated your participation in the Mexican Fiesta last month.  The offering came to right at $1,300.00 -- we added an additional $200 from the Mission Board fund and sent a check for $1,500.00 to Abundant Life School.

We also received a letter from Victory Village asking for a donation to help with some urgent needs.  We are placing that letter on the bulletin board.  If you are interested in helping them out, please send your donation to the address listed on the letter.
