We are leaving KC. We have been here for 2 weeks, 2 days and 18 hours. He is doing well and his weight last night was 6 lbs 3 oz. The doctors have asked that he stay isolated at home for the next 4 weeks. I will try to continue to update everyone as to how he is doing.  Jon

Well we have been home and already I haven’t sent an update. Sorry. I will try to continue to let everyone know what has been happening. However, it may be less frequent.

The trip home was uneventful. He did great. It was nice to be home and see everyone. The other 3 children have done really well. They love to help wherever they can. We are all going through some time of adjusting to things being normal and also to have a new member in our house. The home health nurse came out yesterday and they will continue to come out and check on him over the next several weeks. They do not want him to leave the house. Visitors are welcome. The doctors asked that we not allow children here (sorry) and adults should have no hint of cold, flu or other sicknesses for at least 24 hours prior to visiting. They do not want him to catch anything. Andre continues to take more of his feedings with the bottle. He also seems to be awake more of the time. He woke up twice last night and drank 50ml both times. This morning he only took 25ml and the rest was given with the NG tube. The NG tube will stay in until he can take all of the bottle for at least 24 hours. Jon
