Andre has been doing well. We have been home for a week. It is good to be home but everyone is still adjusting to the changes. I went to work today for the first time. April was home with Andre by herself for quite a bit of the day. He has taken all but 2 of his feedings with his bottle since Saturday evening. He is awake more and the children love to “help” take care of him.

Thank you to all who have helped. It is amazing what everyone has done. We have received wonderful food since we are home and cannot began to thank you for all that you have contributed with gift cards, cash, calling cards, baby gifts, gifts for the other 3 children, camouflage outfits (Thanks uncle Joe) the list could go on and on. I am also thankful for all those who have been praying for us. The social worker at CMH told us that it is very unusual that we got dismissed as early as we did. These babies are often in the hospital for 4 to 6 weeks. We believe our prayers were answered.

We did have some trouble getting his prescription filled when we got back for KC. We needed Prilosec in a liquid form and they don’t make it that way. The home health nurse called a compound lab in Wichita and they made if for us. It was expensive and so we called the nurse at CMH. She called the pharmacy at the Hutchinson Clinic and faxed them the
”recipe”. They will be making it for us.

I will try to continue send updates without boring everyone. Jon
